Today I had the best meeting ever. I got to seemingly slide into my parent's living room to be a part of my Mom's Xango Goodness Party, share my story via Skype and then "be in the room" while Jenn and Ona shared the amazingness that IS Xango Goodness. How cool!! Then I spent the rest of the day reconnecting with old friends and sharing the Xango Goodness project. Have you seen this video yet?

There's also a new Goodness Foundation website too: www.XangoGoodness.org
I get all teary when I watch my family immerse themselves in this opportunity... think of what we can do: TOGETHER. :-)

Philanthrocapitalism - The Paradigm Shift in Business
I FOUND IT!
At last. The opportunity that I, and other social entrepreneurs like me, have been looking for (or attempting to create) our whole lives.
The revelation: I knew from the get-go that Xango contributes 7% of profits to charities, as this has always resonated with me and my commitment to serving others. What has now revolutionized my involvement and momentum with this company now has been the Xango Meal Pack program.
This company has found a way to address the global crisis of hunger through a business plan called network giving. Xango realized that the best way to change the world is to do it with the power of exponents and leverage. Basically, Xango is building a network of givers to pay it forward to impact the world together. The Xango Goodness meal pack program does this by sending meal packs to impoverished countries around the world to feed starving children. The meal packs are a meal replacement that is the first step out of starvation: a dry powder formulation for the severely malnourished; it helps to strengthen those who cannot properly digest solid food due to long periods of poverty, famine and other disasters.
This video will move you to tears, and then to action: http://www.mymangosteen.com/MeaganCorlin/charities/mealpack.asp
Now, here's where the business part comes in: a Xango Distributor purchasing meal packs around the world gets paid a commission by the company for every person they empower to do the same thing. This video spells out the whole program. Thank you Glenn Sparks! http://doingwelldoinggood.info/
WATCH IT. It's mind-blowing.
Here's how this works in a nutshell:
In the most basic form the project consists of purchasing meal packs each month (no minimum or maximum) after you become a member of the project ($35 one time membership fee, $20 a year after that). There are no contracts, and your distributorship makes you a home business owner so you are then eligible for all the tax benefits of a home based business. Then, if you buy 2 or more meal packs each month, you are eligible to earn commission on the purchases of every other person that joins you in this movement (and/or buys products). It's that simple.
While Xango is an amazing wellness company with revolutionary products, you don't have to buy ANY of them to be a Xango Goodness distributor. There's no catch. This is why I love this company. Some of the products change people's lives, and others don't resonate with the products the way I do. THAT DOESN'T MATTER. Xango can bring you financial independence by starting your own home-based network giving business to make it your job to feed starving children and empower others to join you in this cause. This has to be the greatest business ever invented. As a social entrepreneur, this is my dream turned reality.
Xango. The way life should be.
Thrive - Xango Convention 2009
October 2009: Salt Lake City, Utah
You've GOT to be here. I attended my first Xango International Convention in Salt Lake City in October and I am still blown away by the impact the convention had on me. 10,000 people attended from around the world... distributors that are either helping people with their health through Xango products and/or are making a living by feeding starving children. WOW.
I could go on and on forever about the power of that weekend and the impact it has had on me. But for those of you who know me, and know what I'm like when I'm fired up and fully believe in something, wait until you see this amazing video Pat Petrini put together while we were all there. You can almost taste the excitement, passion, awe and inspiration in my voice, body language, and words. And it's not just me... our whole team is electrified in this video. (MOM too! Watch her go!) You've GOT to be at convention
Take a closer look at Xango. This is the real deal.

Introduction
For the first time in my life I am committing myself to keeping a journal. I can hear my mother now: "Hallelujah! I always told her she would be a writer someday." Welp, finally an opportunity came along that I want to shout from the mountain tops about... XANGO! Check out my Xango Journey Introduction video in the YouTube feature on this page. My goal is to show the people I care about why I am so passionate about this company and its products. I just came back from the international Xango convention in Salt Lake City Utah and my experience there is the inspiration for this online journal. I NEED people to see what I saw and know what I know. Business does not have to be the way it is. Making money does not have to take years of paying dues with no guarantee of financial freedom. And most importantly, there exists a company that actually does what it says it's going to do. A company with a conscience. A company with soul. And MAGIC*. (*If you are reading this and you have been a part of the NH Teen Institute please see my post about MAGIC)
Read on. It just keeps getting better.
Remember: Life is too short to be mediocre.
